Awareness of the Farmers towards Activities of Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY), in Ranchi District of Jharkhand, India

The study was conducted in the district of Ranchi to determine Awareness respondents towards activities RKVY on both its beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries. 4 villages under Tamar block were chosen randomly, a total 120 (60 60 non-beneficiaries) selected randomly for study. Data collected using pre-structured interview schedule through personnel interviews, results analyzed appropriate statistical methods. found that middle-aged individuals largest group among (71.60%) non-beneficiaries (46.60%). majority had medium landholdings, with (41.60%) being (36.60%) having marginal landholdings. Medium-income (43.30%) non- (48.30%).The awareness farmers be at level (43.33%) low (63.33%). also age, education, land holding, annual income, extension contact, social participation, mass media exposure, risk preference economic motivation positively significantly correlated
